  • I'm not huge on manicures because I've got my own UV lamp at home, but a couple of months ago I decided I wanted the potentially-still-in-fashion "claws" you see on stylish people these days. Wanting to make sure I'd do it the right way if I was going to commit to something so different, I started my research to find the perfect place that could deliver what I wanted. Enter Lisa at Midtown Nails. She's quick, she's super friendly, professional, and makes sure you're happy no matter what. I changed my mind at the last second on what style I wanted, and she adapted, no problem. I had stiletto nails and she made sure I knew how to take care of them! I went in about two weeks later for a fill-in where I changed my color and style (this time an almond shape), and she was just as great. My first time I had no appointment and I got in under the wire, but two people who came in after me were told there was about a 45 minute wait (if this happens to you, it's worth the wait). I made an appointment when I went back for the fill-in, and she was able to see me right away. Not only that, but it was 2.5 weeks later and Lisa remembered my name and details of our last conversation! Everything looked clean to me; all the nail techs were super friendly and speak English to the guests and to each other. I recommend this place to everyone now!
