No communication or accountability. Dropped off car 10am Friday and they said they needed to order a part and it will be ready Saturday. No one called and when I got off work I called at 230. No one has worked on my car. They said it will be done in the evening. Called at 600pm and same answer, no one has worked on my car. Highly disappointed. They should have been honest and I could have taken my business elsewhere to get done in a timely manner. Will be writing reviews to Attorney General, consumer affairs, BBB, to the corporate office of Peb Boys in Philadelphia PA, CEO Anthony Windom, Manager Joe Butler and of course on their own website.
Follow Up: Pep Boys called 1230pm, Sunday, and said the car was ready. Arrived after work 3:12pm and spoke to Assistant Manager Kyle. I asked for explanation of what happened. He said he was not in yesterday and did not know the situation. The original paperwork was missing. He called over Nathaniel to the counter and Nathaniel explained the technician Walter Soto just didn't feel like working on the car yesterday and did not tell anyone so no one called us. Kyle said this isn't the first time they had issues with Walter and apologized. We had a 15% coupon and he said he can do better and gave 30% due to the lack of communication and said they will correct the issue with Walter.
