  • Avoid, avoid, AVOID this company. (Did I mention avoiding it?) To replace my leaking water heater, which goes every 4 years, 5 Star wanted to charge $300 on top of replacing my water heater. That's because the replacement required the removal and re-installation of a water recirculation pump that wouldn't even get replaced. Fidelity National Home Warranty told me this cost was not included in my contract, even though this same pump was removed and replaced at no charge the three other times my heater went out. After crying foul to 5 Star, I was told that the owner, Moshe, agreed to charge "only" $240 for the 11 minutes of extra work and I was treated like I owed them a huge thank-you. I can't see recommending this company for any service other than emptying your bank account.
