  • This was our first stay at this hotel. I usually stay at the Cosmopolitan but wanted to try something new. We got the City Corner Suite and it was nice at first glance. The hotel is clean and relatively smooth in terms of access to and from your room and to the exits. The location is convenient with it being a few minutes to the Bellagio and the Crystals Mall. What I didn't like about the hotel was the service. First of all, when you are in a suite, it probably should go without saying that you would expect glassware. When I called down to them about this, the response was "well, we are a green hotel." Ok, so does that mean that I am supposed to cup my hands and use that for water? You provided coffee cups so are those more green than wine glasses especially since you included a corkscrew by the ice bucket? Maybe just own it next time and say that you didn't have your housekeeping do an inspection before approving the room for guest arrival? Moving on to the kitchen. It's interesting that when we came back with food, there was nothing there to actually use to eat it with. There are 10 drawers but nothing in any of them. Again, a call down came back with the "we are green hotel and we don't want to wash the silverware for each guest," thing. Again, this is a suite and you have facilities but in order to use them, you inconvenience guests who are paying a premium to be there. This isn't Budget Inn & Suites here. Another irritant. The last thing was the Wifi. When you advertise Wifi, perhaps you should make sure that it is actually working. After spending 15 minutes with the tech support, who were nice by the way, it was finally up and working. It's the little things here that are annoying. In Las Vegas, competition is tough for guests who are used to spending a lot of money. It's doubtful that I will stay here again because there are so many choices in Las Vegas that it would seem pointless to do the same thing again if the first experience was less than stellar.
