  • City Market is an independent franchise of the Loblaws/PC family. In an area not densely populated with conveniently located grocery chains, the opening of this new mini supermarket is a godsend. The store is thoughtfully designed to be inviting, colourful, visually appealing, and modern. Making your way through the departments is quite easy. This place is like heaven for someone like me who shops almost exclusively at Real Canadian Superstore. They have a wide selection of products in every department. The real hidden gem here is the amazing meat and seafood markets, the gigantic deli and bakery, and seating area where you can eat your meal. Having a place like this steps from your workplace makes grabbing something much easier (and expands the options considerably). The prices are quite consistent and the service is reliable. Self-checkout aisles make it easy to grab a few things in a hurry. For those who bank with PC Financial, there's an ATM at the front entrance. This store is a benefit to those working and/or living in the Entertainment District.
