Everyone I know loves Bob's. Friends from out of town demand to visit this place and for good reason. There's nothing like it. When Cheeseburger In Paradise opened years ago, I realized that Jimmy Buffet was only singing about the Caribbean lifestyle, while Bob lives it. From the brightly blue and cracking plaster walls to the fish tanks and pond, this place has the atmosphere just right.
We mostly just stop in for the drinks which are brightly colored and fruity. Service can be slow on busy nights, because each concoction takes ten steps to make and the bartenders are exacting with each drink. The food's good too. The coconut shrimp and jerk chicken are popular. Jolly Bob's little pricey but cheaper that a warm climate vacation.
