I wrote the bottom part of review first. Adding this too segment after husband almost was seriously injured due to work they provided. We hired them to build attic covers. My husband went to use one for the first time and put his hands on both sides to boost himself up. The board broke loose, went through drywall and he caught himself with his other arm. Josh didn't nail in the boards properly. You can see where he bent the nail and then didn't fix it or put in another nail. This could have caused serious injury to someone.
We hired Loera's for a few cabinet items and their handyman services. We hired them thinking a professional/licensed cabinet company wouldn't mess up any of our cabinets since they are expensive. First, he installs our electrical outlets on the island. He cuts too far so we now have to put on oversized outlet covers to cover the mistakes on both sides of the island. Second, he was covering up a piece of town kick that was cut and missed with the pen marking the cabinet. He then had to install scribe to cover it. (Giving me a hard time about it not being talked about orginally. Yeah, because I wasn't going to until you screwed up.) Third, in one bathroom he cut the wrong size holes for the handles and then tried to hide it with one of those corrector pens. Fourth, he filled in the holes of the toe kicks but didn't smooth out the putty. I had to remind him too and then argue with him about who did it. He treid to claim it wasn't them. Well we hired you to do and no one else has been here... Fifth is the caulking used on the cream cabinets. He used almond caulk and promised it would match. It look yellow on my cream cabinets. Josh was the first one to talk crap about our other contractors cutting corners but he wasn't any better. They made it sound like everything could be done in a day or two. I had to meet them at the house 10 times over 5 weeks and this is with me bugging them about getting it done like they said. 2 of those times they were 30min late. They didn't start being late until I started giving them a hard time about their mistakes. They would also say they would reach out to me at on a certain day to schedule the next time and not. I had to do the following up with them bailing on 3 different days after setting a time. We had other problems as well with some of their other services but this warns you how they will take care of your cabinets. We were going to have them build something for our microwave to sit in but not after all the trouble we had trying to get them to do their jobs like they said they would. Their is also a disconnect with the workers and owner. The workers would say no problem we can just do that. The owner would come back later saying he wanted more money after the job was done and we weren't told it would be more. One day we owed them $745 and the worker says we owe him $1400. I was like how? He was like I don't know that's just the number Frank gave me. I then walked through our written estimate adding up everything with him. He was like I guess it is $745. He then comes back the next time explaining why he asked for more money. It was something though that I asked if it would be more and he said no. Then then boss says yes... And puts the customer in the middle with the employee of course not going to admit to it.
