  • Sorry to only give this two stars, but they really don't deserve more than this. This was our go-to place for several years before we went to Symphony Hall across the street, which is at least 7 times or more a year. This last time was such a disappointment, as well as several times before...always hoping it would improve. The restaurant is beautiful; the wait staff is friendly and efficient, but that's where is ends At best the food is mediocre. I don't know what happened to the kitchen over the years, but each year the food seems to be declining. This last time, I ordered a hamburger, Medium Well. It came out piled high with lettuce, tomato, one tiny piece of onion, and the hamburger was so thin, that it looked like it had been bought at a fast food chain, and it wasn't cooked properly inside and cold. My husband ordered a Rib Steak. He was told it was Prime. He said, at best it was fair and definitely didn't taste like a Prime piece of meat. Unfortunately, because of all the above, we will be looking for a new restaurant in the downtown area, before our concerts. The convenience doesn't out weigh the poor quality of the food.
