We stayed in this hotel as we were in town for Mike Finney's Dry Heat Classic.
The first thing I noticed was cigarette smoke permeating the hotel. I was wrong, It's some sort of incense that blown through the air system, likely to cover up the large volume of smokers in the casino - we walked through the casino, only. We don't gamble so I cannot comment about any of the casino games. Finding restaurants in this casino is not especially easy.
Our room was small but comfortable. At first we didn't care for the bed but one night of sleep changed that opinion. The mattress was very comfy and the sheets were very cool. The TV is adequate but being a casino, likely it is not a priority to management. Pity. After being on the nearby golf course for a few hours about the only thing one wants to do is take a cold shower, lay in bed and veg a little bit. No menu that is clickable on the TV. You are limited to scrolling up and down the channels.
Minor complaint . . .the rooms a too dark but then the hotel is dark in general. At least IMO. Add a few watts, at least, in the bathroom.
We attended 2 nights of entertainment in their theater. GREAT theater!
seating was very comfy. Great light system and even better sound system. Very, very professional and we appreciated it.
Every member of the staff that we had occasion to meet were not only professional but very outgoing and cordial. I think you get what you receive more times than not.
The events that were catered were absolute ***** events. The food was sumptious and they kept it turnedover and fresh. FRESH. Delicious.
We will certainly come back next year and look forward to staying here.
