  • If I could give Luci's six stars, I would! I am gluten-free and dairy-free by necessity. I get so tired of having to shop in several stores (usually Whole Foods, Fresh & Easy and Fry's) to fill my pantry and still feeling as if I missed out. Today, I discovered Luci's and was I in HEAVEN! Not only do they carry most of the gluten-free items I already use, but they carry so many I have never tried! (All items are competitively priced, too!) Additionally, they have cold beer and freshly baked goods on-hand! Ken, the store owner, literally gave me a 20-minute tour of the store, made several helpful product suggestions, and then had his barista create an iced, drip coffee with rice milk for me! For anyone that knows me, this makes Ken a keeper! I generally avoid coffee bars because none seem to carry rice milk (which is my favorite alternative to dairy; soy is too harsh for me, too). Ken assured me Almond Milk is also available. As great as all of these points are, the best is that Luci's is a locally-owned business. Oh, and they host cooking classes on Sunday nights. I will be back and I will be telling everyone about this place to the point of annoyance... :)
