  • A Well Oiled Operation It's just comfortable. 3 of my 4 visits to Vegas, we stayed at The Orleans. The rooms are clean, comfortable, quiet, and on the larger size. The halls are also very wide. Although rare you can get an occasional loud person in the hall. Mostly I think the hotel caters to the older crowd who are much more respectful of others. Our choice of room is the deluxe king suite, updated of course. I've always gotten the amenities we need. The facility, although aged, is well maintained. We are not real big gamblers, mainly the slots, but there is a good & I might say reasonably priced selection of restaurants to eat at in the casino. Heck, on this trip, we even had a scoop of ice cream. I like it much better than staying on the strip. The owners, (Boyd) have several casinos, & sure know how to lay out the welcome mat. Kudos to them!
