| - Amazing time! Very educational, gives you perspective on how technology is moving forward and information if you are in the electronics business.
First time attending, came here because of my work. I deal with electronics at work, manager to be exact. I know lots of whats out, specs and information when it comes to most electronics and appliances. What more can I learn from this trip? Boy, was I surprised...
International Consumer Electronics Show is the biggest show/event in the world. You see so many Buyers, CEOs, business people and businesses trying to get their product on the market. All around the word, you have so many people roaming the Las Vegas Convention Center and Las Vegas itself.
LG, Sony, Samsung, RCA, Intel, Panasonic and the list goes on. From latest appliance models to new and innovative TVs being displayed, two days here wasn't enough. Sure I got to see the big name booths, but even so, didn't have enough time to fully hear the specs on all the products. You really don't need to, but if you are pro electronics and initiative to always learn, you will need almost all week to fully take advantage of this event.
To prep for this show, hotels are expensive. Try to book ahead of time, maybe consider Groupon or Living Social deals for Vegas hotel rooms at cheap price. Like me, you can always wait till the last two days of the event and book a room at a cheaper price. Its a small sacrifice to not be able to attend more days but will save $$$. To be honest, it is a business event so usually CEOs and company owners wouldn't care on pricing so have you're bosses book! lol
