Outstanding trail. Well kept, easy to hike with a few steep spots. Restrooms at trailhead along with education area. Many small educational posts along the trail describing the local plants, bushes, trees. We hiked this a few days before Christmas. Quite a few hikers but never felt crowded. Note that this trail is not a loop but an out-and-back trail. We hiked 45 minutes and then turned around to head back, total of about 1.5 miles with an elevation climb of approximately 300 feet. Terrific views of the surrounding area. (You can continue on the trail to hike farther than we did.) Highly recommend for the entire family. No dogs allowed.
