We were looking for a Vietnamese food lunch while in Phoenix for the afternoon. This place popped up on a yelp search, and we figured, why not? We've never had Cambodian food before. The place seems a bit divey on the outside. The decor on the outside, well, it looks like they just took over an old Italian or Greek restaurant. The inside was delightfully quaint. Lots of old Cambodian relics for the decor, cheesy Asian attempted rock and roll on the speaker system.
I had the lemongrass chicken, my wife had the green mango fish. Both were absolutely delightful. The spices were kind of like Vietnamese, but earthier, heavier, I guess. The waiter was friendly and attentive.
I am holding back one star because I would like to see a lunch menu with lunch prices. (A bit cheaper during the daytime would be nice)
We will definitely be back next time we are in town.
