| - Father's day dinner plans went out the drain when the babe was called in from 3-11. What's one to do for dinner? Then I remembered as a kid, I went to Peppermill with my family during those late nights of working late, class or otherwise. I decided to take him and the spawn here.
We were greeted by a hostess in a rainbow patterned shirt. She was seating other guests so the cashier came up and sat us immediately. As we sat down, a man in an orange Polo (so many different uniforms) brought us water and asked for our drink order. I settled on an orange juice and the babe just had his water. We had Kaitlyn as our waitress. She was really kind, asked about our baby, and took our order.
WHAT WE HAD:
Crab cakes
Buiscits and gravy
The crab cakes came in orders of three, topped with diced tomatoes and green onions. They came with a roasted tomato sauce. Both of us loved it!
The biscuits and gravy were good as well. Wish they came out a little hotter, and personally I've had better elsewhere in the valley. My daughter loved them though.
HIGHLIGHTS
Retro decor
Rainbow sugar (they had red white and blue for the holidays)
There were different uniforms for the hostess, cashier, manager, bussboy, waitress and lounge service. Try to spot them all!
Overall a good experience, I'll come back for another late night bite!
