rev:text	Let me start off saying DONT MOVE HERE!! Maintenance does "cover ups/ half a$$" work. If you need something fixed you'll wait weeks and then the job isn't even done right. I had many issues but the one that stands out the most is having a non working fridge for 2-3 weeks. Everyday maintenance would say "it's fixed" and the next morning I'd wake up to spoiled food. As far as landscaping if you like to see beer cans/ bottles everywhere and USED CONDOMS, then you'll love the landscape. The "park" is just an old dirty slide on what's suppose to be sand. Their "immaculate" tennis court is a piece of concrete in the middle of the complex. The previous manager was there for 2 years. She was the worst "manager" I ever knew. She was snotty, rude, a liar and was on a power trip. It took 2 YEARS for upper management to realize she was incompetent. Let me write that again... 2 YEARS!! Southwood realty don't care about residents nor who they have working. This manager did everything in her power to make this complex filled with residents of her choosing. She was corrupt and did things for her convenience. The craziest part of all is that southwood realty hired a "manager" that had 6 different aliases!! Smh. There's no way she was even legally able to work, let alone be a manager of a complex. Since she left there has been 2 more managers. Nobody wants to work here and FIX the previous managers mess!! If I can give this complex a negative star, I would. I've encountered so many issues that I feel should've been addressed, but like I've previously mentioned SOUTHWOOD REALTY didn't care. It was literally raining in my apartment and the response from management was " it's not my problem"!! "CABLE READY?!?! Uh.... NO!! Half the complex can't watch tv unless they get a converter box. Oh yea... Let me not forget the termites that swarm my kids room every march!! Again response was " that's not my problem". To top it off they went up in rent and these apartments are not worth the amount they are charging. Hopefully one day southwood realty can care about their residents and realize without residents their company is going to crumble. Bottom line... Worse experience ever!!
