In all fairness, I must disclose that I think of The Cheers Theme Song when I think of my relationships at Madhouse Coffee.
The crew at madhouse are delightful. They are individuals who speak freely, wear their own clothes, and are permitted to wear there piercings and hair how they like---though it is a 'madhouse' it's never excessively wild. I find it entertaining when a car comes through the drive thru and one of the guys puts on a silly voice for the customer on the other end. It is all good fun--- Marco, the owner is Genovese and his northern Italian styles have proved he is savvy in coffee, music, decor, and more importantly; business. He has hired a great staff. The girls are all cute and sweet. The guys are all friendly and hard working. Though the girls work harder :) Several of them are getting good at following Marcos expectation of "Latte Art"
Looser and tastier than Starbucks, (the closest Starbucks is inside of a Grocery store) Madhouse is quaint and available. The drive thru is quick. The table arrangement is comfy and flowing.. I never feel boxed in when I am in the dining room. The patio is also a nice place to relax. The occasional rush of cars west or eastbound on DI generally leaves more silence around than traffic noise. Basking in the sun overlooking Desert Breeze Soccer Park, sometimes a hookah bowl might help to pepper a warm moment.
