  • I have never shopped at a Lowe's before and after the experience I had there today I will never step foot in one again. I went there for 2 main things, grass seeds and cinder blocks. It started with me seeing one pallet of seeds and a employee rushing past me. I said 3 times excuse me to ask her a question and she kept walking. I had to shout hey excuse me miss! Then when I asked if that the only brand of grass seeds they sold she said probably, I don't know, ask her and pointed to another associate who was about 5 aisles away at a register and walked off. That associate sent me to the wrong isle. after about 15 minutes I finally found the seeds myself. Then we go to where the cinder blocks are. No one around. Just a girl at the "service" counter. I ask her if some one can help us. She says he's cutting wood and will be there shortly. 20 minutes later no one is around and she didn't call someone to help us. So, I go walking around and find a male employee and asked if there some one who could help us with the cinder blocks. He says very rudely "when I'm done here" like I inconvenienced him. We wait another 5 minutes. My husband goes to the "service" counter and asks if there is someone else. She tells my husband the same thing that the guy will be there shortly. Then she goes over and tells they guy there's people waiting and he yells I know. another 10 minutes passes. He finally comes over. My husband says I need 54 blocks. This guy says oh so you'll need a pallet an I can't help you because I don't drive a fork lift. Let me get someone. and walks off. He goes back to the "service counter" and I here him and that girl saying "I don't know who's here that can drive the forklift". 2 other employees walk up and no one knows who can drive the forklift or who to call to find out. Then they are just standing there for a few minutes. We just left and went to Home Depot a block over. We were in and out in1 5 minutes and the associates answered all of our questions. They didn't need a forklift there. They along with my husband loaded the blocks on 2 flat carts and helped with checkout. They even answered my questions on grass. I would not recommend this lowes. Go to Home Depot on Crismon and Hampton. you get WAAAAAY better service.
