September is the time to see Gleem at Olbrich park. We saw it last week during the harvest moon phase and it was awesome. If you don't know what it is it takes place after dark and is art and exhibits that light up or glow in the dark. It is pitch dark except for makers on the trail and the art that can be anywhere. In the trees, by the fountains or at ground level. There are guides at most of the displays that can tell you about what you are seeing or guide you to the next place. They have glow in the dark stuff on too so it adds to the fun. There was music and a full bar at the start of the walk. One display had some paper machete monkeys with sounds in the background that were spooky monkey sounds. Great fun but a little pricey at 13 dollars for adults. It is worth it. Don't miss.
