I had been out of work for a very long time so needless to say my confidence and self-esteem were at an all-time low. My counselor recommended that I check out a couple schools for training to get me back into the workforce. Reluctantly I went to PITA thinking that this would be a waste of time and that there is no way this would help me find a job.
I first met with a gentleman by the name of Tony. He instantly helped me calm myself by sharing his own experiences and talking to me like I was a peer and not some out of work bum. I started to feel hope and self-confidence again after our conversation. Ultimately after looking at two other schools, I chose this one.
I went through their desktop support program and loved it from day one. My instructor Boris was absolutely amazing. There are teachers who say they care about their students, and then there are those who demonstrate their caring for their students. Boris is someone who demonstrates his caring on a daily basis.
After completing the program, I went right into an internship where I received additional hands on training beyond what I received in the classroom. After completing the internship, I was hired full time.
I owe everything to PITA!
