| - I bought a Groupon for a manicure and pedicure, so decided to try out 4D nails. The deluxe pedicure was nice, because it includes lots of steps like a salt scrub, hot stones, and lotion/oil massage. Unfortunately, the girl who did my pedicure was spacing out and staring at the ceiling the whole time, so she barely applied any pressure and basically just rubbed her hands lightly up and down my calves. UGH - what a waste of time. Then I transferred over to a guy for the manicure. I never wear polish on my nails, so I asked him to please just shape my nails and then buff them, instead of polishing them. I thought to myself for a minute "huh, I might not be getting my money's worth, since I'm not getting the full manicure," but I really hate chipped polish on my nails, so I went with it. The surprise came at check out, when the manicure guy told me that it was $5 EXTRA for the buffing. I was like what? You didn't even give me a whole manicure! He said "well, the polish is included in a manicure, buffing is not." Seriously? What a scam. I'm disgusted and will never return. Beware if you decide to go to 4D Nails.
