  • This is a beautifully appointed shop in Acorn Alley, with myriad cheeses, wine, and other accompaniments (olive oils, jams, crackers, nuts, chocolate) to suit all budgets and types of events. The owner and his staff are friendly and knowledgeable about what they carry, and were very helpful when I came in looking for a specific cheese to top an onion soup. It's nice that many of the cheeses are packaged in smallish to medium portion sizes, so that it's affordable to take a risk on a new kind. They also offer what I think is one of the best lunch deals in town--a $3.99 grilled cheese or an artisan cheese and cracker box for $4.99. Under a fiver for what you know will be yummy and high quality delectables--I think yes!
