  • I'm not a big SPG traveler but when I do stay SPG it's usually Sheraton which generally exceeds my expectations. Starwood knocked it out of the park with their luxury collection and the Ballantyne Charolette. Although I was only there for one night for a business meeting, every point of contact was exceptional. Absolutely impeccable housekeeping, cleanliness, furnishings and views. Checked in on a Sunday evening and asked if they had someone to press my clothes and they offered to steam them without question and come collect them. I didn't have time/energy to use the pool but they have a pretty legit fitness center that I did use in the AM. Probably the best stocked fitness center of any hotel I've ever been at; you'd be hard pressed to not find what you're looking for out of a hotel gym and they have personal trainers available too, but that seems a bit over the top for a hotel, IMHO. The fitness center also has a fridge with complimentary cooled water, nice touch. There are several patios on the upper floors which offer plenty of space and seating with exceptional views of the golf course, one was exceptionally close to my room which was nice. The valets were all very polite and friendly opening my door as I arrived both times. Front desk staff and concierge were outstanding as well. I will without question return and recommend your property. Thank you team Charolette Ballantyne for your hospitality.
