  • I've been taking my cars to Jakes for over 20 years (back when "Jake" was the owner - now his sons are). I can't recommend them highly enough. The one negative review I see for them on Yelp suggests that they should have done something years prior to avoid some service now. Bill has always given me options (such as to change out hoses that still 'work" but are old) - I always get them changed. The one major thing I like is that between my and my family, at least 20 different cars and drivers, they have always fixed what was wrong the first time! Instead of a dealership where they suggest "well, let's fix this" and then you find, "well, that didn't do it, let's try this and that!" You go to Bill with a problem, they check it out and give you the right diagnosis and cost up front. I've never had additional charges and a few times it was even less. There prices are very good, very competitive, you might find someone who will say "I'll fix it for less" but in the end you will pay more due to poor workmanship, inferior parts or lack of knowledge.
