| - I don't usually write reviews, but those guys saved me a lot of time and money, so I wanted to share my experience.
I was a "First American Warranty" customer for few years, but eventually decided to drop the insurance, and just pay for repairs as they come. A week ago my fridge started heating up and stopped freezing. I called two technicians from different companies (I won't name the companies), and each one af them came, collected their $50-55 fees, and said that the problem was with the freon (one of them) and with the compressor (the other one). In each of those cases, the repair would cost anywhere between $180 to $400+ and that's witht he service call excluded...
I decided to call this company (they are located close to where I live) for a second opinion, and I was in for a big surprise... The technician that came seemed very knowledgeable and experienced in what he was doing, checked the fridge and within a minute he said that the fan just died, and it can be replaced right away (apparently he keeps a full inventory of all the needed parts for the repairs in his van) for less than $160.
Long story short - he cleaned the back of the fridge really good and changed the fan for less than 15 min and I my fridge started working again! No new compressor needed, no freon replacement.
