I was looking for a new place to repair a high end backpack with a broken zipper. This store is located in an underdeveloped shopping plaza (has empty spaces, needs new tenants). The store itself is pretty standard compared to other leather, shoe and bag repair stores I've visited in Las Vegas - their back of house is exposed and there's leather work, items being repaired and everything EVERYWHERE for you to see. They also have what looks to be a wall of country boots and "high end" bags on display and possibly for sale (though I question the authenticity). The staff is friendly and attentive. My bag repair took 3 days to turn around which is standard. I was in a rush picking up my item so at first glance it looked fine - zipper was repaired (though they made no effort to select a zipper close to the original). When I got home and inspected the item further, I noticed the stitching on the exterior of the bag was a mess. The original stitch of the original zipper was barely noticeable, a single line stitch and matched the color of the bag. The new zipper's stitch was a noticeable color, not stitched straight, stitched more than once in certain areas and just looked completely unattractive. For a high end bag, this job was not cared for in the way I expected based on other reviews on Yelp. I could go back to have this fixed but I'd rather avoid any further damage to my item. I'll now have to pay twice and go to someone else to have the "repair" fixed as I am not coming back here unfortunately. I've read some great reviews on Yelp for other things like shoe sole repairs at this place but I also did see a few reviews about hit & misses on bag repairs so my experience confirms that this isn't the place to bring anything too expensive to repair.
