First time customer.....daughter's bday choice for sushi. Driven by this place countless times. Never stopped. Who knew? Shame on me!
First...staff knowledge and gracious. From the hostess to our waiter, everyone happy to explain the menu. Place was clean, neat and had no bad fish smell. Love that!
Second the food. Amazing! Favors, textures, presentation and yes, pricing. We hit happy hour. Choices were vast and each plate was so tasty. We hit all the categories and each plate was beautiful in presentation and marvelous on the palate. Each sauce a perfect match to the plate of food.
Beer selection was impressive and the bar appeared nicely stocked. The mules looked especially inviting but I was enjoying the fresh local beers too much to switch. Someone had to drive! Mules will be my next adventure.
Expected this restaurant to be good. Didn't expect it to be wow! It was wow! Our waiter Owen was superior in service and attention to this novice as he navigated the menu.
We will be back...to try soups, noodles and the long list of rolls and bites we didn't try today.
Seriously a great experience and a wonderful find. Love supporting locally owned businesses. You need to try this place.
Many heart-felt motherly thanks to the entire staff for the wonderful cularinary experience/celebration of my daughter's birthday.
