I had forgotten how huge the portions are here so prepare to knock out as soon as you get home. I recommend sharing a plate if you don't plan to take some home!
My boyfriend and I came here around lunch time over the weekend and it wasn't packed but it wasn't empty either. The place is pretty dark with only a few Windows to let natural light in. Otherwise everything is pretty yellow due to the light bulbs. There's also a choice between a booth or a table.
Our server was Kyle and he did a great job! He introduced himself and immediately greeted us in a friendly manner, got our drink orders and made some recommendations as to what's popular. I went for the chicken and waffles, my boyfriend got the pork tenderloin and we shared a gigantic red velvet pancake. As soon as I saw all the food, I realized I wasn't as hungry as I thought I was.
I ate as much as I could and took about half of it home. The way they plate and decorate their food is unique, the knife stabbed into it is a real eye catcher.
This isn't a place I would go back to too often because of how heavy the food can be, but I would definitely recommend it if you haven't been here before!
