I rented a car from Avis for the first time. I usually go with another company but after hearing good things about them, I decided to try AVIS out. I was renting a car while on business and I got a call 2 minutes after I rented the car. I had drove only right outside of the lot and immediately came back in. I informed them that I would no longer be needing the vehicle. I asked to speak with the manager and she flat out refused to come speak to me. The service rep. said she was busy. So I said I would happily wait. 30 minutes go by and no manager ever came out. Finally the service rep said she would not speak with me nor give me a refund. I did not use the car for the services I originally set out to do and did not even drive 1 whole mile before returning it. What kind of company employs Managers who refuse to speak with a customer? Also, How can you in good conscience, take $200 from me for never even using the car for it's intended purposes and only driving 1/10th of a mile ? I am a business owner and I would NEVER do that to one of my customers. It comes down to morals, honesty, and good business practices, which you AVIS has none of. BEWARE!
