| - Stayed for a week because there was a wedding I was a part of. I arrived on 5/24 and went home on 5/31.
Upon arrival the first thing I noticed was the overwhelming scent of Mold in the lobby. I assume this is because of all the water around or in the building.
Once I checked in, I noticed that although they upsell the beds on the website, they're nothing to write home about. but there were a variety of different types of pillows so at least there's that. I was also disappointed to find no tea/coffee maker in the room, this made me sad as the coffee or tea in the eateries was $4.00 One thing I did notice is that the glasses that you get beside your sink.. they were pretty gross looking, so I didn't use them. I've watched too many shows where they show how they're 'cleaned'.
The rooms themselves were large, well appointed, and if they were non-smoking, they truly were non-smoking. No hint of a smoker being in the room. The bath tub was a large soaking tub. Not a HUGE one, but large enough that I could soak comfortably, and let me tell you, I NEEDED it after walking every day.
The casino was your typical casino, filled with smoke (YUCK) though the air handlers did a good job of getting rid of a lot of it. The eateries: The coffee shop/Pho, The buffet and Phil's were all nicely appointed and decently priced. I was able to eat and not go broke, even if I was determined to put it all in the slots. ;)
There is even a 24 hour CVS attached and a new Avengers exhibit. A decent enough visit.
