  • It has been several years since I saw Dr. Casas, but I feel compelled to write this due to the complete negligent treatment I received from him. I've debated writing a review, however I want others to know so they do not suffer like I did. After continuous complaints to him about heavy bleeding, his only solution was to keep pumping me full of birth control pills. He never did a blood count check despite me telling him I was suffering from extreme bleeding. He made me feel rushed and like I was burdening him with questions. He did an ultrasound, saw what he thought were polyps or fibroids, but continued telling me it was a hormonal issue. I made an appointment with another doctor, but had to wait a few months as I was a new patient. I went to a nurse at the University and she did a blood test. I ended up in the hospital having to have a blood transfusion because I had lost so much blood during my time under Dr. Casas' care. I had fibroids that he noticed, but brushed off the bleeding as "hormonal issues." I do not trust this doctor. His complete lack to care is alarming. Please be aware and be your own health advocate. Don't let him rush you or make you feel you are a burden. Best of all, do not go to this Doctor!
