  • Disclaimer: This is based on a bridesmaid dress experience, which I understand could be a bit different than a wedding dress purchase. However, based on my experience, I would definitely recommend at least browsing here if you are in the market for a bridal dress or prom dress or some other fancy schmancy dress. I love wedding dresses. I am scheming of ways to marry my husband again so I can have another one! And, when I finally succeed, I will head to Celebrations. I went here to order a bridesmaid dress for my best friend's wedding. She was getting married in NYC, and she had advised us all to order the dresses online to save money. However, after a little research, I determined that the dress was pretty much the same price at Celebrations. Plus, by ordering the dress from them, I received a sweet deal on alterations if I needed any, like $25 for an alteration! That is a crazy deal. I also felt better going to a consultant to get measured because as any lady knows bridal wear sizes make about as much sense as Latin. It is pretty well known that dress shops love to encourage women to buy a slightly larger dress so that the shop can make bank with alteration charges. So, I was thoroughly impressed when the young lady at Celebrations actually encouraged me to buy a smaller dress than the one I was considering! She was right! When it came in, it fit perfectly, and I didn't have to have a single alteration. When I arrived in NYC, I heard all of the other bridesmaids telling horror stories about how their dresses came late, or how they were told to get a size too big and the subsequent alterations were done poorly. I felt very lucky. My experience with Celebrations was as flawless as I could have imagined. Good price and great service.
