  • I was SO utterly excited that this cafe made "paina puffies" aka paalakai bakery snow puffies on the north shore of Oahu! So excited that I drove all the way from my house in Henderson to Greenland! Talk about journey! Anywho, upon arriving I immediately spot the snow puffies and I ever so excitedly ask...how much are the puffies?!? With a big smile on my face. Then she says..$2.75 (with the sassiest look on her face) but sees me pointing at the snow puffies and she says $3.75 basically giving me her snotty look while I'm smiling cheek to cheek So, two things are going through my head.. this girl has the worst customer service skills and damn! That's expensive for a small version of the real paalakai bakery pastries! Initially I wanted to buy a dozen for the fam but that would be $45 for 12 pastries. I asked if they had special pricing if we are buying a dozen and the said nope. Hell to the no was I going to pay $45 for 12 pastries. I ended up buying one and it was ok.... not worth $3.75!
