  • We miss the old Brocach. The new interior is sterile and nothing like an Irish pub - it looks like any other generic hipster restaurant now. The new menu is meh. My husband had the beef pot pie - for $14 the serving was small and there wasn't a ton of beef in there. I had just a side of Mac n cheese because nothing was sounding terribly appetizing. The mac n cheese was tasty, and for $4 I got a good size portion. My friend got the bangers and mash - she was disappointed they had changed the recipe because it used to be one of her favorite dishes. Overall, the service was great. The food was okay, the drink menu was small and the decor was disappointing. If this was my first time here, I'd probably give it a better rating. But knowing what it used to be, I can't give it more than a 2. We won't be back.
