| - Find somewhere else...
How it goes:
- I Call around, Techna has lowest quote, woop. "I'll go there to replace the rear glass".
- Insurance: I'm covered, even better! How about Techna, I already called and they'll save $$$ for all involved. Win - Win
Heres where the problems start, oh boy.
- I ask for them to replace my rear wiper blade also, no problem, so they get to work and then:
- I WATCH this kid WATCH himself drop on the ground a fastener for the rear door panel. "They'll replace that, he saw it anyways."
- I WATCH them notice a scratch they just made on my nice car, small, but worthy to let me know so we can remedy it.
- I WATCH them digging through the trash and all around the car for something they OBVIOUSLY lost..
OK, time to settle and get on with the day... 45 minutes delayed from their quote time.. No they were in fact working the whole time it seemed...
#1. They let me walk out of there ready to leave,
#2. They f'd the insurance company (no surprise here) +$375 MORE than they quoted me.
#3 They LOST the fitting I saw and LIED even about how it was lost.
#4 They LOST the rear wiper blade cover and tried to give me just some petty cash to ignore it. Also LIED about who was looking for it and how that was lost.
#5 They did NOT replace the rear wiper blade like I asked.
#6 They ignored my claim that they scratched it. I SAW YOU GUYS DO IT.
#7 LIED about the time it would take obviously if they were working the whole time.
#8 The kid then asks for me to tell State Farm that they did a good job, when they do their follow up survey. HAH ok bud.
I was already late and in a rush so I could only do so much at the scene of incompetence.
Edit: Did get a call from their customer service, appreciate that and it shows their willing to make it right. Not much they can do though.
