I placed an order for a cake for my grandson's baptism - approximately a month ago. I went in to pick it up today...ummm NO CAKE! Houston we have a problem....the gentleman helping me was very polite and nice, asking details of when I placed the order, of which I provided, still NO CAKE! So, luckily the cake decorator was still there and quickly began decorating a new cake for me...I pulled up the specific decorations that were suppose to be on the cake (I had originally provided one of the invitations for them to use) and she came pretty close....not exact but it was crunch time, so she did the best she could. Gentleman opted to not charge for the cake decorating due to the inconvenience, just charged me for the cake - gee thanks! He kept looking around for the order, found the paper that contained my credit card information (thank goodness my card number wasn't laying around anywhere ) and then found the invitation I had provided...but NO CAKE was made.....not sure what kind of system they have, but this was NOT a good experience and not sure I'll order another cake from Barb's Bakery. Very disappointed !
