| - I am so glad to be out of there. I lived there 2 years, the first year they left me without a dishwasher for 4 months, and pigeons were pooping on my door every day. They finally made some arrangements to get rid of the pigeons after me and my neighbor both complained about it, and after I wrote to their corporate how much health issues it was causing me to deal with it.
If you don't take necessary measures almost daily, your apartment will be flooded with ants, I have no idea how much Reid I breathed those 2 years. The leasing office is VERY mean to you. I remember I was working out, and I went to refill my water in the kitchen, they gave me bad looks and made me understand I wasn't welcomed there. Of course, I never dared to ask for water after that.
They kept raising my rent on me, even though I was never late on my payments. The complex got worse the second year, they started letting a lot of questionable people in, perhaps because the normal ones kept leaving after being treated poorly. My maintenance requests were either ignored or handled 2-3 weeks later. My last service request was ignored for two months because the new employee didn't put it in. The guard comes and gets on your case for the silliest things in the pool area, but the employees throw wild parties there frequently, with all the glass bottles and craziness they can possibly bring in.
The manager is extremely rude and so is the staff. After I shopped around apartments, I decided the place has a more spacious 2 bedrooms and maybe I should get over the craziness and stay there, so my boyfriend and I asked Paula to show us the model, she acted like we were pulling her teeth, but she showed it to us, because that was her job. I am sure she wanted to be outside smoking instead, as usual, so my apologies to Paula for bothering her...
Also. don't be fooled by the "gated" community, the gate is constantly broken and it doesn't shut. Some teenagers broke into the gym and shot either a gun or something that sounded like it, it was very loud and scary. The gym door opens without a key if you pool it hard enough, so that's how they came it. The pools are dirty most of the time, the first year I was there it was better, the second year it got worse. They were marijuana smokers at the pool most of the time, which made it unbearable to be there. The police were at the complex more often, as they kept letting weird people in.
Less than 24 hours before me moving out, they told me I had to free my apartment at 1 pm instead of the end of the business day, which resulted in a lot of hustle and I didn't get to clean my carpet, which gave them a reason to keep my 300 USD deposit and ask for additional 50 dollars. I also hurt myself and cut my finger, because I was trying to get out as fast as I could, I was bleeding when I took the key to the leasing office. I wanted to take them to court, but my boyfriend asked me a very reasonable question "Do you really want to see these people again?" to which I responded "NO" and that was that, I gave them the additional amount and never looked back. This place has a great potential, but first, they need to fire everybody from the leasing office and bring in decent, customer service oriented employees. They are seriously emotionally abusive.
