I have known Jan for 25 years. I was a competitor of his for 24 years before I sold my business and retired. His work product is impeccable and he has always had the best equipment money can buy. If I have an accident my vehicle will be fixed by Jan. He stands up for the customer, fights for their right to a good repair. Most shop owners are afraid of insurance companies and refuse to help customers just telling them"I am sorry that is all the insurance company will pay".
People need to understand that only a few insurers really care about the quality of the repair you receive. Insurers truly care only about the "lowest cost" and how big the claims reps bonus will be that they get every year. Claims people also receive a bonus for writing estimates with junkyard parts and Chinese imitation knockoffs. Jan has battled these problems for years in order to help his customer receive a quality repair. He is not under investigation for anything or any type of alleged fraud. That is an outright lie and I would guarantee that lie came from the lips of an insurance representative.
Fighting insurers to get a high quality and safe repair for the consumer is a daily battle that can be won if the customer understands and assists in the battle. Insurers will put people in harms way to feather their own paycheck. I have seen them lie, as well as intentionally delay repairs in an attempt to discredit a shop. They really can be a lot worse than the Mafia. A shop must choose between working for the customer or working for the insurer. A man can't serve two masters. Rest assured Jan works for the consumer, fixes vehicle with quality oem parts and the work is outstanding. When you consider where to get your vehicle repaired ask the shop if they have a "contract" with your insurer. If they say "yes", ask them to make you a copy. Read it and you will understand where the shops loyalty must be.
