The food is fresh delicious and a little unexpected. If you are a plain meat and potatoes type this isn't your place. Our party of ten tried over half the menu and every dish was delightful. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the grits with them tasty; the shrimp was a favorite and best of all the chipotle sauce with them wasn't too smoky tasting; the Korean beef was flavorful but a little too spicy for me. Others at the table thought it was divine.
The restaurant is small and a little noisy. It was perfect for a fun night out with friends. They don't take reservations so get there early. We went on a Saturday night. Our group of ten arrived at opening and others were also there waiting for the doors to open. The wait staff was wonderful, very attentive and knowledgable about the menu. The menu does change about every three months so you will never be bored.
