  • On August 28,2016, my mom died 10 days after a kidney transplant. She died due to negligence on the part of the oncall doctor ( who I will not mention here as we are suing him for medical malpractice ) who neglected to respond to several pages and phone calls by her nurse due to very low post operative blood pressure. This bastard responded after 3 hours and 14 minutes and did not physically assess my mom for an additional 5 hours. My mom died from ischarmic bowel, which essentially means that she suffered a living death, as her intestines were deprived of blood and slowly died. In addition to the above murderer, the next dr on call over the weekend, repeated the same ct scans 3 times, with no clear answer. My mom could have been spared had they made a small incision and used a scope to determine what was causing her such immense pain, as the cat results did not reflect the physical state of my mom. She was taken into surgery 8 days post transplant to determine the cause of her pain, although by this time she was on life support and never regained consciousness. Although my mom waited for nearly 9 years for a kidney, she was neglected by the TGH staff on many levels. The suffering my mom experienced for 10 days at the hands of these murderers will forever be with me, as we were robbed of a beautiful soul- my mom Sophia. This hospital and incompetent staff that were unfortunately placed in my mom's path, failed her and left her husband, children and grandchildren grief stricken. I hate you TGH and your staff. See you in court.
