  • I am not someone who writes reviews very often, let alone giving 5 stars. But this La Quinta deserves it. Here is my story: my mother and I stayed here on Friday night. We had a nice large room and the breakfast was good. So far, this might rate 3 stars. But as we were checking out, my 87-year old mother asked if we could get a shuttle to the west side of town where we were attending a memorial service for my step-mother. We told them nothing of this, but it did color our thinking. They said they only had a shuttle for a 5 mile area, so we had to get a taxi, since it was 11 miles away. Not only did they call the taxi, but they paid for it in advance, which we learned from the driver when we reached our destination. That is outstanding service, and something I have never received before, even from a fancy hotel. Thank you so much, La Quinta of Madison! We will never forget your kindness at this difficult time.
