I really enjoy outings to Calgary Farmers Market. My SO and I love walking around and visiting all of the vendors. From fresh fruits to saskatoon berry pie, Calgary Farmers Market has a little bit of everything.
There is ample parking, and the food court always smells awesome. They even have a stand of vegetarian "meat" (it's meatless, but simulated, and reflects many of the same textures and flavours of real meat--which can be good depending on what you're cooking and when).
Calgary Farmers Market is also a south-end lifeline to a lot of busy, further away food places, including Jelly Modern Doughnuts.
Do check them out. It's a neat place to lunch or just buy fresh groceries.
