Great climbing gym with many great people. I climb here on and off whenever I am living in the area. I have met many great climbers who are super friendly people! The strong climbers are more than happy to help you if you're struggling with anything. I was able to develop a lot of my skills climbing here and am super happy that I chose Boulderz as my gym.
I usually climbed around 9PM till close which was an ideal time for me and not busy. I would see regulars each time who happened to have the same schedule as me which is something I like. I climbed a few times around 6PM - 8PM which is much too busy as this is right after working hours. I would avoid this time if you can. The staff working at this time are awesome and super friendly! I noticed another reviewer saying that they were snobby but I never experienced this, perhaps it was staff working during another shift. On Saturday mornings the youth team practices and they are amazing but there's a lot of them running around so that is something to consider.
The one "issue" with Boulderz is that it is quite pricey especially if you only get a day pass. Expect to spend over $25 for the day pass, chalk, shoes and harness. The membership price is also not cheap, I paid about $60 per month where other climbing centre I have gotten student deals around $40.
