  • Andy Warhol Museum surpassed my expectations, even for someone who doesn't know much about art like me. I spent a few hours browsing from the top floor and slowly moving my way down..and boy...what a talented artist Andy Warhol was! His pop and contemporary art was especially really cool and interesting..I loved all the bold, bright colors and the "out there" in his art pieces..and had even more appreciation for all the commercial art and painting on CPG packaging for all the cool brands out there like Campbell's soup, Coca-Cola, etc. The museum also shared parts of his life where Andy Warhol shifted his interest to short films for a brief period as well..so that was super interesting. The admission is $20 a person but I think if you have a student id..you get half off, too. It's a little pricey but the museum was very well curated...from biography of how/where Andy Warhol grew up to how his areas of interest in art morphed over time. The collection of things and exhibition in there were really cool to check out, too. P.S. start from the 7th floor and work your way down so you can follow the timeline chronologically. Also there's a small place in the basement to entertain your kids with some art/play section, too.
