rev:text	*YELP 100 CHALLENGE 81/100* Naturally for my 100th overall, I would pick a sweet spot to review. Popped fits that bill perfectly! I was reading Alice C's ROTD yesterday and realized I haven't tried Popped, upon bringing it up on my Yelp app I realized they had one location 4 miles from me. Tuesdays being movie night at our house we decided to grab a couple of bags. We got there around 6, immediately when you walk in the aroma hits you like a thunderbolt and induces a smile :) The storefront is beautifully decorated, classy all around, it was like stepping in a boutique. Brianna emerged from the back and warmly welcomed us. I told her it was our first time and she encouraged us to try as many flavors as we wanted. I don't normally like to try a lot at a time, indecisiveness kicks in and is all too real! lol. We told Bri to let us try their popular selections: we started with La famiglia - a savory popcorn with Parmesan Cheese, Garlic & onion, and Sweet Basil. I was immediately sold on that one. The Marilyn - Kettle corn coated with white chocolate and coconut. Light in flavor and sweetness. S'mores - Caramel Corn, marshmallows, graham crackers and dark chocolate. I totally forgot about the frozen popcorn, I would've loved to try that. Ultimately the La Famiglia, Caramel corn with Almonds and White Cheddar won. There were still quite a few flavors that we need to try but that's going to have to wait til the next visit. Prices are very reasonable at $3-5 for a small bag and $5-7 for a large one. Also don't forget to check in on Yelp for a FREE large bag of Chi City mix (caramel corn, white cheddar and nacho cheese) worth $6, very generous giveaway in my opinion. Everything about this place impressed me, from the cleanliness of the store to the chic décor to the friendliness of the staff down to their packaging and bags. I'm a big fan of Garrett's but I might've found my new go to popcorn place.
