  • If your car is in dire need of a cleaning, Windy City is easily the best in town. My only complaint is the long wait even on a slow day. A couple cars were in front of me and a full service cleaning with seat shampoo took exactly 5 hours from start to finish. It's a little annoying that they charge $5 for bug removal as this will ultimately always be there after any short distance trip. But, they no doubt do an excellent job. You can see them hand wash your car through the windows from the waiting room. They're meticulous in everything from the exterior wash, to the interior vacuuming. When finished, I feel like it's pretty close to when I first got my new car. The cost is a bit pricey, but you pay for the quality care. I was initially quoted to have a 2.5-3 hour wait, but when it reached 5 hours, I was getting slightly irritated. But, I also later found that they were spending extra time trying to get this stain out of a seat. At least the waiting room is comfortable and has plenty of amenities. This includes free wi-fi, chilled bottled water, a Keurig coffee machine, a clean restroom, plenty of outlets, comfortable couches, and a large window in full view of all the cars being cleaned. If you do come here and are planning to wait, bring something to do: work, a book to read, a laptop, etc. Otherwise, plan on getting dropped off and returning in a few hours.
