| - Sometimes, timing is everything. And in this case, it was bomb.com!
I guess it is common to make a reservation here, but being the tourists that we were, we didn't. We arrived and the lady asked if we had a reservation. When I told her no, her face turned and she told us to wait a moment. Luck was on out side, because somehow they were able to get us in and seated. Once we entered the dining room, there was no table available. Whew!
They have a good menu with a lot of options for vegetarians/pescatarians! I was super impressed. I ordered the shrimp scampi and the noodles were cooked perfectly. They were the right texture and the shrimp was so tasty and succulent. No skimping on the shrimping either! Plenty come with the dish so you don't have to ration your shrimp over the course of your meal. The bread served was also addicting. Cause I. Love. Bread. I ate so much of it, with the butter melting on the inside. Just scrumptious.
Due to a large party, the amount of time it took for the food to come out was a little longer than I expected, but the staff were so kind, they apologized and offered free dessert, which who turns that down? I ate off my moms Limencello Mascarpone Cake, and our spoons were fighting over the next bite.
You can tell this is a family place. As people were leaving, they would address them by name, and the guest would reply, "See you next time!" And I can see why.
