  • "What I loose on the peanuts, Is made up on the Popcorn" - P.T. Barnum. The cost of the room is low, but you get what you pay for. It will be modern and clean, but there will be no fridge, microwave, and internet is sluggish. Faster internet costs 10/day even after you are charged $15 automatically for the resort fee. I came here for 6 days on business - a course being taught in the conference center. Needed to get a package one day ($5), needed to send a package ($10 plus postage), need internet $10 for 2 hours $50 for 8 hours. Recently the entire place was remodeled. Restaurants are very modern with no personality. Feels very sterile. That being said, the asian place is good with great happy hour deals and oyster place has huge, tasty portions. Overall, the food is expensive. There is a Subway and a footlong will cost extra +$2.50 over what you would expect because it is not a subway franchise. The new restaurant Ball-win-modern-douche-something has alot of taps and a $25 minimum to play pool..... guess where I'm not drinking!!!!!! Besides that.... the staff is really nice. All of them are super kind and helpful. Gambling floor waitresses are required to wear revealing clothing, which is okay on the young ones..... but then it really made me feel bad about the objectification of women when the 45+ waitresses are wearing revealing clothes. They still look good.... but I think about my single-parent sister wearing that because she needs the money..... and then i just hate the system.
