| - Overall, the staff at the hotel seemed very unprepared and would say anything to you for you to leave them alone. I arrived at the hotel early, as we were staying there for a wedding. The staff said my room was not ready, but that it would be ready in 20 minutes and to come back. I come back a half an hour later, my room is still not ready, it should only be another 20 minutes. 20 minutes later, I'm told they're cleaning my room now. 30 minutes later, the room is still not ready. At this point it is past the designated check in time, I've been at the hotel for two hours, and I now have a very limited time to get ready for the wedding. It would be one thing if they had been honest and said, it might be a couple hours, but the constant "your room is being cleaned and will be ready in twenty minutes" was infuriating. Finally, they give us a room two and a half hours later. Structurally, the building is nice and clean but the issues with service continued. At breakfast, there didn't seem to be enough staff working and it took considerable time to be noticed by a waiter. At the wedding, I was asked to help the bridal party move belongings from the bridal suite because they apparently couldn't keep stuff in the suite during the wedding, no one working at the hotel could help, and the hotel said they had no carts. We saw many carts the next day while walking to breakfast. It was a frustrating stay and I didn't feel that the staff treated guests with respect.
