I was experiencing extreme leg and back pain when I was referred to Dr Kabins office. I am fortunate to have been referred to his office, because thanks to him performing a microdiscectomy surgery on me on 12/8/15 I have regained my life back. I had been dealing with lower back problems for a few years now but this last episode was a nightmare. It started off as just lower back pain but then the pain began radiating into my whole left leg to the point where it became crippling. Dr Kabins looked at my mri and recommend surgery, I was a bit nervous about going under the knife, but knew I could no longer live and deal with the excruciating pain in my leg. Dr Kabins explained everything to me and even gave me his own personal cell phone number and told me he was here to help me, what Dr does that!? I am 4 days post op as I write this, and even though I still have some leg numbness I am glad I went through the procedure with Dr Kabins. I know I am not 100 percent better because of my leg numbness, but I'm hoping it's just something that will get better with time I know it's way too soon to know if this is something that will go away or be permanent. With that said this is nothing compared to what I was going through and dealing with. Yes, sure the wait times are a bit long but at least he's not a Dr that rushes his patients through and not spending time examining and explaining everything to his patients. If I had to re-do this again I would still select Dr Kabins and his staff, no questions asked.
